File Worksheet 2
Volunteer pipeline calculator
Start from the number of active volunteers you need this year and work backward: sign-ups, then visits to your volunteer page. Add the hourly value your organization uses for in-kind reporting to see what the roster is worth.
The model says
- Sign-ups you need
- 80
- Volunteer-page visits a year
- 2,000
- Visits a month
- 167
- Volunteer hours in the year
- 800
- Those hours at your rate
- $20,000
A model built only on the numbers you enter. It doesn't know your town, your roles or the season, and it isn't a forecast of what search will bring. Use it to size the volunteer page's job: if the monthly visit number looks far off, the page needs more searches pointing at it.

01 Reading it
What the monthly visit number tells you
If your volunteer page already gets that many visits a month, the bottleneck is the page: unclear roles, missing shift times, a long form. Fix the page before you look for more traffic.
If it gets far fewer, the page needs more searches pointing at it: a page per role or program, the town and the kind of help in the title, links from your Google Business Profile and partner sites. That's the work our plans do; see local SEO for nonprofits.
02 Hour value
About the hourly value
Use the rate your organization already uses for in-kind or volunteer-hour reporting, so the number matches your other reports. Ask your accountant or auditor which rate is right for your financial statements; volunteer time is often reported differently from cash gifts.
Want a second pair of eyes on your volunteer page? The free audit looks at it alongside your donation page.

The free audit is a short written report, not a sales call: how your site and Google listing look today, who shows up instead of you, and the first three fixes. It comes by email within one business day.
Or ask the assistant in the corner: prices, Ad Grants, chapters, how canceling works.
